Robert Simer, D.V.M. currently works as a regulatory veterinarian in Waco, Texas. He grew up in Illinois on a farm where he developed his love for animals. One of his first jobs was with the Texas Animal Health Commission in Liberty, Texas. After working with corporate feed and drug manufacturers in the Midwest, he returned to Texas in 1997. In 2006 he moved to Waco to work with the USDA. He serves as a board member for the National Association of Federal Veterinarians.
